Changes in Remedy’s Core Management Team
Remedy Entertainment Plc (“Remedy”) has today resolved to change the composition and roles of its Core Management Team as described in this release.
Remedy’s Chairman of the Board of Directors, Markus Mäki has acted as Chief Product and Technology Officer in the company’s Core Management Team. This role will be separated into two core management positions as follows:
1. Markus Mäki assumes the role of Chief Product Officer. In this role, he will be in charge of managing Remedy’s game portfolio and guiding the game projects in development.
2. Mika Vehkala has been appointed as Chief Technology Officer. Vehkala joined Remedy in 2016 and has acted as Technology Director since 2019. As Chief Technology Officer (CTO), Vehkala will be in charge of the Northlight® game engine and tools technology, the related team as well as other technology initiatives that Remedy has. He will report directly to CEO Tero Virtala. Vehkala’s CV and picture will be available later today on Remedy’s Investor site at https://investors.remedygames.com/company/core-management-team/.
