Board of Directors
Remedy's Board of Directors is responsible for the company's administration and the appropriate organization of its operations.
The Board has adopted a written charter for itself, which defines the matters falling within the Board's remit. According to the charter, the Board's duties include, among other things, approving Remedy's strategy and appointing the CEO.
According to the Articles of Association, Remedy's Board of Directors consists of no less than three and no more than six ordinary members. In addition, one to six deputy members may be elected to the Board. The term of office of the Board members ends at the close of the first Annual General Meeting following their election. The Board elects a Chair from among its members.
Remedy's Board of Directors has not established any committees.

Markus Mäki (b. 1974) is one of Remedy’s original founders. He has been a member of Remedy’s Board of Directors since 1995.
Mäki is one of the pioneers of the Finnish video game industry with decades of experience including being one of the key people behind Futuremark Ltd. He has participated in every Remedy game project since the founding of the company, mainly in production and technology management roles.
Mäki holds an English bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from the Espoo-Vantaa Institute of Technology (currently Metropolia University of Applied Sciences).
